Installer's take
Down-firing in a Bronco cargo area is one of the cleaner install concepts out there. The floor does real acoustic work. Both drivers are loading against a hard, close-range boundary the moment you power the system up. You get reinforced low-end output without any port tuning or ported box tradeoffs. It is a sealed box, so the response is controlled and accurate, but the ground-coupling effect fills in the low end in a way that makes it sound bigger than 2.05 cubic feet of sealed air suggests. The pre-wired OFC saves you the crawl-inside step that makes dual 12 builds annoying. Pull the leads through the cutouts, mount your drivers, connect at the terminal cup. The polyfill is already packed. You are not doing anything inside this box at the install bench. Universal baffle means you are not locked into a driver. 11.25 cutout and 8 inches of depth covers most standard 12s from Audiomobile, Crescendo, and Image Dynamics without modification. Confirm your specific driver's published mounting depth before ordering. High-excursion motors with extended baskets occasionally run tight on depth. The feet set the standoff correctly out of the box. Do not swap them out for something taller thinking you are getting more floor clearance, the coupling distance is part of how this enclosure performs. Keep the feet that come with it. Top surface is flat and carpeted once the enclosure is in. It will hold cargo. That is the whole point of the down-fire layout in a utility vehicle. You do not have to choose between a real subwoofer and a usable cargo area.

Will this enclosure fit my Ford Bronco?
This enclosure is built for the 6th-generation Ford Bronco (2021–2025), both 2-door and 4-door configurations, all trim levels. It sits in the cargo area. There is no factory mounting point integration. Confirm your available cargo dimensions against the external dimensions (41" W × 15" D × 8.5" H) before ordering.
What subwoofers fit this enclosure?
This is a universal 12" application. The baffle is cut to an 11.25" cutout diameter with 8" maximum mounting depth. Any standard 12" subwoofer within those parameters will fit. High-excursion competition motors with extended baskets occasionally exceed 8" of mounting depth. Check your driver's published spec before ordering. No threaded inserts are used, so there is no proprietary bolt pattern to match.
Does this enclosure come with subwoofers?
No. This is an enclosure-only SKU. Subwoofers are not included. The enclosure ships with internal 12g OFC wiring pre-run to the woofer cutouts and terminated at the Proline X terminal cup. Ready for your drivers to drop in and connect.
Why down-firing? What does it actually do acoustically?
Down-firing positions the drivers to load against the vehicle's cargo floor rather than firing into open air. The floor acts as an acoustic boundary. Both drivers pressurize against a hard, close-range reflective surface simultaneously, which reinforces low-frequency output and produces a broader, more even bass response than a rear or up-firing orientation in the same space. The secondary benefit is practical: the top surface of the enclosure stays flat and load-bearing, so you do not give up cargo utility to run the system.
What is the net internal volume, and is it per chamber or total?
2.05 cubic feet total. Both drivers share a common sealed chamber. Confirm your driver's recommended sealed volume against the shared airspace before selecting a woofer, drivers with a low recommended sealed volume may perform better in a smaller dedicated enclosure.
Is polyfill included, and does it come pre-installed?
Yes. Polyfill is included and pre-installed at the factory before the enclosure ships. It acoustically extends effective internal volume for improved low-frequency extension without adding external size. Factory installation ensures consistent packing density on every unit.
What MDF is used and why does it matter?
Langboard Elite MDF, a named, sourced, mill-documented panel product with published specifications: 200 psi internal bond, 325 lb face screw holding strength. Internal bond determines how well the panel resists delamination under sustained excursion pressure. An enclosure built from undocumented generic MDF may hold up initially but loses structural stiffness over time as the panels degrade internally. Langboard Elite is the same panel stock used across the full Proline X lineup.
What comes in the box?
The enclosure and four mounting feet. Internal 12g OFC wiring is pre-run and terminated at the Proline X terminal cup. No additional wiring hardware is included or needed. Subwoofers are not included.
