Installer's take

The 0.75 ft³ per chamber puts most standard 10" drivers right in the middle of their recommended sealed range. You are not fighting an undersized box that limits excursion, and you are not padding an oversized box with damping material. The volume is well-matched to the driver size for a sealed alignment. The 6.5" max mounting depth covers the majority of standard 10" drivers. Shallow-mount drivers are fine. High-excursion competition motors with extended baskets are the exception. Check your driver's published mounting depth before ordering. At 28" wide and 10.75" deep this enclosure fits across most trunk floors and behind most rear seats in full-size trucks and sedans. The single terminal cup handles both drivers internally. Both must be run at the same impedance, so confirm your amplifier output and driver impedances match before wiring.

Questions

What is the net internal volume of the P10D-S?

The P10D-S has a total net internal volume of 1.5 ft³. The interior is a single shared air space with heavy internal bracing, the chambers are not individually separated. Both drivers share the same air load.

What is the maximum driver mounting depth this enclosure supports?

The P10D-S supports a maximum mounting depth of 6.5". This covers the majority of standard 10" drivers. High-excursion competition drivers with extended baskets may exceed this spec: check your driver's published mounting depth before ordering.

Does each driver have its own terminal cup?

No. The P10D-S uses a single terminal cup shared between both drivers. The drivers are wired internally to the cup, which requires both drivers to be run at the same impedance. The terminal cup is an ABS/Carbon Fiber Composite recessed unit with stainless steel hardware and copper ring terminals.

Why sealed instead of ported for a dual 10" build?

For installs where accuracy and DSP tunability matter more than maximum output, daily listening, SQ builds, or systems with active crossovers, sealed is the correct alignment. If you need maximum output and extended low-frequency response from dual 10" drivers, a ported dual 10" enclosure is the better fit.
