Installer's take
Four 8" drivers in sealed alignment is a purpose-built configuration. The combined cone area exceeds a single 15" while keeping individual mounting depth at 9.25". That combination does not exist in any single-driver format. If you are building a dedicated trunk system and want to maximize output without going to a large-format single driver, this enclosure is the better engineering choice for that application. At 38" wide this enclosure is designed to span a full trunk floor. Measure your available width carefully before ordering. This is not a behind-seat option. The single terminal cup handles all four drivers internally. All four must be run at the same impedance, so confirm your amplifier output and driver impedances before wiring. With four drivers pulling from the same cup, a wiring error affects all four simultaneously. Take the time to get it right before the enclosure goes in.

What is the internal volume of the P8Q-S?
The P8Q-S has a total net internal volume of 1.80 ft³. The interior is a single shared air space with heavy internal bracing, the chambers are not individually separated. All four drivers share the same air load.
Why run four 8" drivers instead of a single larger subwoofer?
Four 8" drivers in sealed alignment produce combined cone area that exceeds a single 15" while keeping individual mounting depth at 9.25". The shared air space with heavy internal bracing keeps the build compact while distributing output evenly across the full width of the enclosure, a configuration well suited for dedicated trunk builds and rear wall installs where a single large-format driver would require more depth than the space allows.
Does each driver have its own terminal cup?
No. The P8Q-S uses a single terminal cup shared between all four drivers. The drivers share a common air space and are wired internally to a single cup, which requires all four drivers to be run at the same impedance. The terminal cup is an ABS/Carbon Fiber Composite recessed unit with stainless steel hardware and copper ring terminals.
What is the maximum driver mounting depth this enclosure supports?
The P8Q-S supports a maximum mounting depth of 9.25". This covers the majority of standard and high-excursion 8" drivers. Check your driver's published mounting depth before ordering.
Will this enclosure fit across a full trunk floor?
At 38" wide and 10.75" deep, the P8Q-S is designed to span a full trunk floor in most full-size sedans and trucks. This is not a behind-seat or compact install option: measure your available trunk width carefully before ordering.

Is this a new SKU?
Yes. The P8Q-S is a new addition to the Proline X Performance Series, built in response to customer demand for a quad 8" sealed option. It follows the same V3 construction standard as the rest of the Performance Series lineup, Langboard Elite MDF, V-groove and dado joinery, in-house terminal cup, and pre-wired 12g OFC speaker wire.
