Installer's take
Three 8" drivers in a sealed alignment is an underutilized configuration. The combined cone area sits between a single 12" and a single 15", but the 10" max mounting depth and 12" box depth make this installable in applications where either of those drivers would not fit. Rear deck builds, shallow trunk installs, and behind-seat configurations in full-size trucks are all viable with this enclosure. The 0.45 ft³ per chamber is well within the recommended sealed range for most 8" drivers. You are not correcting for an undersized or oversized box. The 10.5" max mounting depth is the deepest spec in the 8" Performance Series lineup, which means high-excursion motors that will not fit the P8-S or P8D-S are candidates here. Single terminal cup handles all three drivers internally. All three must be run at the same impedance. Confirm your amplifier output and driver impedances match before wiring.
Questions
What is the net internal volume per driver bay?
Each driver bay is 0.45 ft³ net. Total enclosure volume is 1.35 ft³. All three chambers are equal and fully separated internally.
Why run three 8" drivers instead of a single larger subwoofer?
Three 8" drivers in a sealed alignment produce combined cone area that competes with a single 12" or 15", while requiring significantly less mounting depth per driver. This configuration is well suited for rear deck installs, shallow trunk builds, and any application where depth is the limiting factor but output is not optional.
Does each driver have its own terminal cup?
No. The P8T-S uses a single terminal cup shared between all three drivers. The drivers are wired internally to the cup, which requires all three drivers to be run at the same impedance. The terminal cup is an ABS/Carbon Fiber Composite recessed unit with stainless steel hardware and copper ring terminals.
What is the maximum driver mounting depth this enclosure supports?
The P8T-S supports a maximum mounting depth of 10.5". This is the deepest specification in the 8" Performance Series lineup and accommodates high-excursion motors that exceed the depth limit of the P8-S or P8D-S. Check your driver's published mounting depth before ordering.
Will this enclosure fit across a trunk floor or behind a rear seat?
At 29" wide and 12" deep, the P8T-S fits across most full-size sedan trunk floors and behind most rear seats in full-size trucks and SUVs. Measure your available width before ordering. 29" is wider than the dual and single 8" options in the Performance Series.

Is this a new SKU?
Yes. The P8T-S is a new addition to the Proline X Performance Series, built in response to customer demand for a triple 8" sealed option. It follows the same V3 construction standard as the rest of the Performance Series lineup, Langboard Elite MDF, V-groove and dado joinery, in-house terminal cup, and pre-wired 12g OFC speaker wire.
